I see Aldershot have picked up their first win, away at Southend. Saturday's game against Southend at Plainmoor therefore takes on the character of a relegation battle. Lose that (and there is nothing much to suggest a different result) and we might well fall into the drop zone.

Don’t worry guys… it’s all part of the 5 year plan! In GJ we trust

Poor result again. Very poor start.
Hopefully our season can start on Saturday with a win
Will be my first visit to plainmoor for over 18 months.
From the doom and gloom about the performances not overly confident.
How long before the GJ out post?

I am already totally disheartened. We are just not playing any football whatsoever. We just hoof the ball route one style and it is awful to watch. No pace, no physicality and no idea it seems. Oh dear it is going to be a long old season.

Only listened to commentary tonight so will bow to those who actually attended, they did sound noisy though, observations, we were lucky to get away with 2-1, and as for Downes shouting that they were wasting time I was shouting at the radio, bloody good too, it means they cannot cut us apart again. It is now fairly obvious that the majority of those that we signed on the mass signing debacle are not up to this league, we have brought in a winger, what does that say about oconnell, , the lad we got from Tiverton is poor, Johnson in midfield doesnt work, we need defenders, Lewis spent most of the second half hobbling, why the keeper was subbed, who knows, unless it was to protect what little confidence he has left.
Johnson states he is aware of where we are at, but lets remember he signed these players, there are no excuses.

I always thought that Waters and Boden looked quite useful together, better than this hoof football we are playing now!?
