A signed Torquay United home shirt is just one of many prizes up for grabs in a charity fundraiser for the Alzheimer’s Society.
There is a group of Gulls fans sponsoring Torquay’s game against Hemel Hempstead on Saturday in memory of two family members who were impacted by Alzheimer’s disease before passing away recently.
David Andrew Stacey lost his battle with young-onset Alzheimer’s in August at the age of 62 and his uncle, Torbay boxing legend David Leslie Stacey, lived with the disease in the last few years before his passing in October.
As part of the sponsorship package, the group receive a signed Torquay shirt - and they are making this available to the person who makes the highest single donation via this fundraising page:

Furthermore, everyone who makes a donation of at least £5 to the fundraising page will have their name put into a draw for a chance to win some other fantastic prizes.
This includes:
The opportunity to join a Back on the Ball podcast, featuring Torquay United legends Colin Lee and Dean Edwards along with broadcaster David Fitzgerald, and discuss a pre-agreed topic of choice with the team. If the winner is a local business, they can promote it on that particular episode of the podcast. Many thanks to the Back on the Ball team for putting this unique prize forward.
