Heart ruling head in last home league game
3-0 Gulls

Torquay United v Weymouth

After the last few matches in recent weeks we have been hard to break down, our defence has grown in stature, keeping numerous clean sheets. Whilst I would love a
5-0 win to improve the goal difference, the first objective is the three points

I predict;
Torquay 1 Weymouth 0
Attnd; 5786 (96 away fans)

Wotton said after truro that the team were calm and very modest, I would like them to be fired up with anger in their belly and a desire to batter teams, we need to improve our goal difference not scrape one nil wins, so I will go 3-0 and hope.

A game we need to win with a decent goal difference. If Weymouth come to draw, then we may struggle to break them down. I'm going for 3 - 0 Gulls win, roared on by 5205 fans😄

Improving the goal difference would be great, but simply getting 3 points is what’s necessary.

2-0

This isn’t going to be a walk in the park IMO as our Boxing Day game can testify too

They have some good players playing for pride and wanting to get noticed. They defended (on Boxing Day) admirably, in a similar style to how Chesham did a few games ago.

I do hope we get at em early doors and desist from this passing across the back style.

Tempting to predict a big win but so often when a team needs lots of goals they don't manage to get them so I'll say -

Torquay 2
Weymouth 0

The league table doesn't lie - all teams have been bang average this season with some worst than others - Weymouth being one of them. Time for Torquay to step up to the plate and put worst of the worst to bed with a goal fest (and the 3 points). Last time I can recall losing a title on goal difference was the 1956-57 season, Ipswich Town narrowly defeated us on goal difference to win the Division 3 (South) with the 'Tractor Boys' managed by some bloke called Sir Alf Ramsey.

TUFC 4 - 0 Weymouth.
