Well, my cunning tactic of mis-forecasting seems to be working!! Delighted to see the lads prove me totally wrong. However, I'm going to change tactic now (oh no?) and go for a genuine forecast of 5-2 against Weymouth as I think we will be going all out to improve goal difference. Over 5000 crowd. COYY

The league table doesn't lie - all teams have been bang average this season with some worst than others - Weymouth being one of them. Time for Torquay to step up to the plate and put worst of the worst to bed with a goal fest (and the 3 points). Last time I can recall losing a title on goal difference was the 1956-57 season, Ipswich Town narrowly defeated us on goal difference to win the Division 3 (South) with the 'Tractor Boys' managed by some bloke called Sir Alf Ramsey.

Tempting to predict a big win but so often when a team needs lots of goals they don't manage to get them so I'll say -
Torquay 2
Weymouth 0
Torquay 2
Weymouth 0
Torquay 4-2 Weymouth

This isn’t going to be a walk in the park IMO as our Boxing Day game can testify too
They have some good players playing for pride and wanting to get noticed. They defended (on Boxing Day) admirably, in a similar style to how Chesham did a few games ago.
I do hope we get at em early doors and desist from this passing across the back style.
