It was unlucky that Rene didn't just put the ball in the net once he was round the keeper. And it was equally unlucky that Eunan missed a sitter in the first half. Also very lucky that Oxford fluffed several chances to kill the game off in the last 10 minutes. Shall I talk about Tai's goal and the injured keeper/wind assist...

Very easy to blame the ref's performance but we shouldn't be relying on them. One of the reasons that big clubs seem to get the big decisions is that they create so many chances that when decisions don't go their way it doesn't matter. Poor teams get relegated on the back of a disallowed goal because that was their only chance.

This is the difference between going up or missing out and conversely staying up or going down.

Decisons do more or less even themselves up, allways remember the 2009 season, drawing 1.1 at home to Northwhich and being awarded the softest penalty in the history of football in the 94th minute, giving us a 2.1 win.

Later on that season, saw the worst offside decision ever, when Benyon was not only being played on side in the first instance by a yard by one defender, he was being played onside in the second instance by 3 yards , by another defender, yet the goal was ruled out, we went on the draw that match 3.3 at home to FGR.

The Oxford match finished 2.2 nothing will chnage it.

Yeh lets move on. I think a point is fair enough bare in mind the number of chances they had in the 2nd half!

Morecambe away rings a bell, leading 2-1 and then we handle clearly in the box and nothing given! I guess they even up over the season, ^.^

In my mind I still feel lucky that we got away with a point.

Having watched the BBC sport video of our second disallowed goal at Oxford (the first does look just offside), where you can freeze frame when Rene squares the ball, what a shocking decision it was. Eunan is clearly not in front of the ball, which he has to be to be offside regardless of where Oxford players are.
