Hemel Hempstead Town v Torquay United, 23rd September 2023

Got to keep positive despite playing on a plastic pitch.
1-3 Torquay win. Close them down quick don’t give them time on the ball especially around the box.

Torquay v Farnborough home win 4-1…. What the hell…you never know. Hopefully they’ll be tired from recent travelling and they’ve had a hard working return at their respective day jobs. C’mon Torquay…

I hate to say it but I’d have to seriously consider buying another ST next season if we don’t get promoted. It’s a struggle to get enthused against 90% of the teams in this amateur division. It’s grim.

Hall injured
Marshall injured
Martin injured
Lapslie looked injured at the end
Marshall and Martin fairly sure it was just cramp, Lapslie just looked knackered, Hall is the only worry.

Should have bee3-1. Bloody useless linesman didn’t see the ball cross the line by at least 6”….. useless NLS officiating.

3-0 home win. Love this Louis, great effort in getting everyone engaged.
Hopefully the game at Dover was indeed lack of concentration. The game v Worthing was a blip due to pressure to win in front of a big home crowd. We need to get used to this league and playing against part timers who are looking for a scalp. However, we do need a commanding experienced CB and are obviously missing Dawson’s busy energy and experience. Another striker would be good but hey, doesn’t everyone. A loss against Chippenham and it’s going to start getting toxic which is very uncomfortable to see.

Do I really want to go and watch us lose again in front of a bunch of arrogant jumped up Welsh wankers singing our demise through the 90 minutes and then watch them take the trophy they literally purchased, and on our hallowed turf. **** no.

Uncle Clarke part 812

If it wasn’t for Simon Mather’s incompetence, Jake Andrews refusing to get off the pitch when injured and the 20 minute delay allowing Hartlepool to regroup, our club would have indeed achieved the 5 year plan. Gary Johnson would not have lost all our players, in fact we would have had further quality additions instead of scrambling around for the best of a poor bunch left on the shelf, who I might add played well when they were looking for a contract, but haven’t performed at all since.

Torquay United v Yeovil Town - 26th December 2022

People who think 2,3,or 4 days before s game it doesn't matter, they're wrong, if you strive to be the best version of yourself, conduct yourself accordingly and focus on trying to get TUFC (your current employer) out of the brown stuff, and up the league, rather than eating stodgy food.
Thank you, my point exactly.

Torquay United v Yeovil Town - 26th December 2022

Probably the worst and least effective team we’ve had in a long time. Even the team we had in the NLS were better than this lot. The effort seems to be there but that it. Young, inexperienced, inconsistent, inadequate. Andrews and donnellan were both in the Babbacombe bay hotel/cafe munching in to a full English breakfast 2 days before Boxing Day…I’m no sport nutritionist but not sure if that’s a good thing.
