Blink and you'll miss it, he talks about Gulls for about half a minute at best..is a shame as I remember him as a battling midfielder who got stuck in and gave it a go in a poor Utd team around 1996.

Torquay United vs Boreham Wood

Gulls so unlucky to miss out on automatic promotion and the title by 2 or 3 goals, Play offs are a lottery...I thought at the start of the season we'd be top 10, due to a whole new squad and it usually takes untill Christmas before you get any rhythm going...PW has done a super job, roll on next season, just wondering who'll stay or go players wise?, and where do we need to strengthen?.

No....as nice a guy Frank is, he's coming towards the end of his career, he's never been a 15 to 20 a season man, ever, Yeovil are very hit and miss right now, and I'm not sure he's even netted this season... personally I wouldn't sign him, plus I don't want to keep getting Yeovils cast offs, we can do better than this.

Torquay United v Truro City Sat 16 Nov KO 3pm

I went today with my two sons, extremely disjointed for pretty much the whole game, a set play was just enough to nick it, was a smash and grab to be honest, Truro with two long trips to London and back prior today, but you could see a style/system and patterns of play, we are a total work in progress, can't say it was enjoyable watch, we got the win, super free kick, ref wouldn't let game flow

Yesterday was a shambles , clearly the majority aren’t good enough and we’ve got lucky all season . Hoofball with two short arses up front ain’t going to work as I said last week the attendances will drop off with this style of football .We havnt got a gk that will play out from the back and just keeps kicking long , Seymour looks like a lost schoolboy , Crosbie is nowhere near this standard , Ash needs twenty chances to score one , reminds me Of Dean Edwards just a lot worse , Palmer and Hammon are part time and boy can you tell . But don’t worry we have our club which is a big positive , just have to get used to results like this 😡😡
I'm guessing that you don't know much football if you think PW only got Truro out of the southern league, bloody hell- he probably had one of the toughest jobs outside of the top 4 divisions in English football....I stand by that statement 100%...Truro were robbed of promotion during COVID, they had their ground sold off and ended up playing at Torquay briefly and in Plymouth having to put on free transport for a while for fans to attend games, they've had a nomadic existence for a good few years, culminating with playing in Gloucester last season for home games, and their schedule come the end of the season was colossal, I saw PW being interviewed at that time on sky sports news, he never once moaned or groaned, played the victim card or anything like that, he just knuckled down and got on with it, nobody has had it tougher in my view in the last 2 or 3 seasons than Truro and PW was at the helm of that situation, they were odds on to be relegated last season but they ended up with a respectable finish in the table...Gulls fans should be grateful that he's our manager

Paul Wotton is a very good manager and nobody really should be questioning him, he's only been in the job half an hour, with a new squad,it'll take time, yesterday it sounded like not 2 or 3 had an off game, but nearly all of them did, it happens to the best of teams, for whatever reason everyone has an off game, I'm going to just call it a blip, the next few games we need to bounce back and show what we really are about, I said on here some time ago ithat getting into the play offs would be a good achievement, I stand by this,..one last thing on yesterday is this, congrats to Bishop's Cleeve fc, probably the biggest win in their history, I heard they played well, and these guys really are posties, plumbers, brickies etc, so let's not overlook what an achievement for them to beat us, ex football league club with our history, so fair play to them.

Chesham United v Torquay United - VNSL game 5 - 26th August 2024

That's a good win today, very positive outcome, I've kept my thoughts to myself of late, but after 5 games I wanted to express my observations, PW has got an honest bunch together, well drilled and organised, the nucleus of a team is there...from what I've witnessed, read, and talked with fellow fans is this, we are direct, and we go from back to front quickly, we've had a bit of a luxury in playing Enfield and Chesham who'll probably struggle at this level, being a full time team you'd expect us to beat them...at the moment we are playing what I call functional, pragmatic football,it's not spectacular or mesmerising but we are winning football games and after the past few seasons I think we will all be happy with this, and factor in a new squad which takes time to settle.. maybe a bit more flair or style will come?, I'm not entirely sure it will, but if we do well this season I'm sure fans won't mind to much, I think finishing in the play off spots if it were to happen would be a good season.

No!, lol, I'm not on the wind -up, but these players are loan players......ex Gulls to me are players who signed for us permanently, that's my opinion anyway... understand if other fans don't agree.
