Anyone got a 'new format'?

Post by AustrianAndyGull »

My forum page has gone 'weird'. It now appears in a slightly different format with adverts down the right hand side. Anyone else had this problem?
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

That's the new design I made today instead of annoying ads inbetween posts I made it on the side. Do you not like it?

To be honest Louis i preferred the other way but i'm not fussed mate. It's absolutely fine this way i just thought summat was wrong that's all. I've always been frightened of change anyway!

I like it Louis.

I was on here earlier when someone was 'experimenting' with a different background and that would not have worked out too well. It was making some words unreadable along the top banner!

Whatever you need to do to earn some more money! ;-)
Maybe one day, Carayol will find London...

Thanks for the feedback Steve. Yes I did experiment a few days back but agreed with you and kept the gold background. I have now fully finished the re-branding of the site design and hope everyone likes it. Remember the adverts pay for the site to run itself so we can't get rid of them I'm afraid (I run the service myself instead of relying on a free service like proboards). Have to say the site is very busy as of late and I'd like to think that we are using all technology available to us such as twitter and mobile site version. As always any suggestions are always welcome.

Oh dear, there's always one isn't there.. :-/ Sorry Louis, I'm only just getting the hang of Facebook, so won't be able to tweet for many a year.
Site looking lovely though - the adverts across the top are a welcome distraction at times :~D
Am more than happy to put some finances into the Admin Dunky Biscuit fund, as I'm sure many of us would, how do we go about doing it?

Great idea Westbaygull, i'd be up for chucking a few quid in their direction if they let me know how to do it.
