Did anyone honestly think we were going to get anything from this game? I thought we'd be pumped, but we lost 1-0 against a side who's top of the league and had the opportunity to be promoted today.

Forget today and turn your attention to our game against Barnet! That is such a huge game and we just need to support the lads.

The blind optimism shown by some is highly admirable but our club has been poor for much of the season and yet again, the lack of goals will be our undoing.

All supporters identified this back in October and expected something to be done in January............nothing. We got Benyon and the yellow tinted spectacles came back out but did anyone really think he was the answer to our problems? The grim reality is that tonight we sit third from bottom of the league and in desperate danger of losing our league status AGAIN.

The Barnet match is now THE game and only a win will suffice. Even then, we're still going to need something from one of the other two games.

But without basing anything on this game alone, our team evidently lacks the spirit and backbone (without even considering ability) for the position we find ourselves in. We have now left ourselves with 2 must-win home games. Does anyone really think that extra pressure will make those games easier?
