Their left back Howell sent off but I think the ref got the wrong guy, should have been Mills.

All over, absolutely awful. We came back into it in the 2nd half but we've wasted chances once again. I like Buckle as a manager but he really is tactically inept at times.

All too obvious. As soon as Crawley beat Derby I knew we'd lose. Our only chance was to be the underdog against a flailing Championship side.

Whenever the initiative is on us we fail, why because we don't have enough quality going forward. Kuipers hasn't had to get his kit dirty. Zebroski and Stevens too hit and miss, Benyon completely isolated, we looked alright when Kee came on but we just lack attackers badly. What you need there in kitchen sink mentality is the big fella like Mcallister for them trying to win things, who do we have Halpin and Lathrope. Not their fault they aren't that sort of player. Even Gritts would have been better than nothing, whats the point letting Gritts go back if we aren't going to replace him?

I thought we were absolute crap for an hour, then the penalty saves galvanised us a bit but we never created a thing. Zebroski was absolute shite even before he was sent off, Bevs bailed us out twice you think could it be our day...no shots on target.

Unbeleivable opportunity gone today and all to Crawley Town, a team with less morals than CHina and North Korea. Absolute bobbins, gutted.

Frustration and anger speaking and thanks to bucks for getting us past walsall and carlisle but he is tactically inept proven many times this season with thte amount of goals we shipped plus blame for the players who have let the fans down today plus blame for the pair of morons who made the third and fourth round draws for not rewarding us with a big tie!!!! P****d off and gonna go and get hammered. If we cannot beat Stockport in a week or so time then Bucks is treading on thin ice with me. In fact if we even concede against them then he may as well throw the towel in!!

So so disappointing. Not just because it was Crawley (and trust me that's a large factor...their gamesmanship sounded appalling and Evans and Raynor were their usual selves), but it was the manner in which we've gone out. Such a poor performance by the sounds of things and if it wasn't for Bevs then it would've been worse. We never really sounded like we were going to score. A big opportunity thrown away. Great atmosphere and kudos to the fans...will be interesting to read the reports of those there. I'm off to drown my sorrows at the pub. John

They gave Benyon a bit of bullying in the first couple mins but generally I thought the 2 centre backs weren't too bad after that. They did go down and stay down far too often but apart from that I didn't think they were that bad.

The problem is the lack of calm, control and lack of risk taking... oh, that and 4-5-f*cking-1. This is a formation that just doesnt work for us and that could be seen as soon as we went to 4-4-2 we got back in the game. It's all very well trying to fit in O'Kane but if the whole team suffers by way of results, whats the point?!
Luke.

What a pleasure to hear the game on 5Live. Sat at home with my feet up and hoping beyond hope we'd make a game of it.

But, without doubt, it was THE most disappointing commentary I've ever heard for one of our games. That puts the game up there with our game away at Carlisle which was you-know-who's last game where the lads then weren't up for it either, the only game I've EVER been close to walking out on.

Nobody but nobody sounded as if they'd put their playing boots on. I can't wait to see the player scores as the match reports come in from those at the game.

I can think of half a dozen excuses at least, but none of them carry any water. At the end of the day, we were sh1t and I hope the players know it!

So, here's another Sunday avoiding the radio/TV trying to not hear who we MIGHT have got. That'll be the real salt in the wound moment.

But, a play-off place is not beyond us, so the season isn't over yet.

At least I got another room full of fans for us up here as I moved offices this week. :-D

Cheers and, still, Torquay 'til I die!

Awful day all round. In the first half we didn't turn up and offered nothing at all. In the 2nd half we picked up, but totally lost our cool and never really looked like scoring. Bevan saved two penalties to keep us in it, but we offered nothing going forward all game. Played into Crawleys hands by playing 1, then 2 tiny strikers and pumping long balls up to them. We've played some really good football this season, but never even got going today.

Did we even create a good chance in the entire game? Either buy a target man or play the ball on the floor. As someone said above, when the emphasis is on us, we don't have enough going forward to win games. O'Kane was very disappointing today, and didn't affect the game at all.

Their goal was excellent play from Tubbs, but it was a hopeful high clearance and ended up cutting our defensive line apart. I don't know if you can blame anyone individually, but you shouldn't conceed goals like that.

With a game so bad tempered, you could put your house on Zebs being the one to be sent off. Stupid kick out after the ball had gone, and then 30 seconds later, what is he thinking with the handball??? God alone knows.

We lost our cool in the second half and really let ourselves down. From the number of yellows we'll probably get into some trouble, and to be honest, we deserve to for being so totally unprofessional.

Huge opportunity wasted.

If they get a plum tie now then that will be soul destroying.

I'm with you on all of that Cambgull - I think the 4-5-1 doesn't suit us too badly in the league, but against lower league opposition in the FA Cup, I think we had to be more adventurous and kill the game early. I'll be very worried about where our goals will come from if the worst happens and Benyon moves on. Still, a win on Tuesday would make amends!

Our home form all season has ben patchy at best, we've now got a run of games mainly at home against struggling sides. Not often I'll say this but the players owe some performances in these games now.

They've talked about the lack of people coming to watch, well today we had a full house it seemed a good atmosphere throughout, we lost without having a shot on target at home in the FA cup 4th round against a side (albeit a good one) from a lower division.

Well now they owe everyone that turned up an apology, and the only way it will be accepted is no more tentative timid performances at home where we scrape a 1-1 against the like sof Barnet. Stockport and Hereofrd have to be put to the sword.

The one thing this season to really look forward to was this little cup run, it all fell for us. Sure we never got the plum tie we wanted but we were given the next best thing, winnable home games. Today's 'effort' was just so crap it's untrue. I can't believe after all the hype they put in a perfomance as dump as that. Season will now be decided in these next 5-6 games. Most against sides we should take points off, if we aren't in the top 7 by the end of it then it's season over. Moved forwards yes, missed opportunity oh unbelievably so.

As for the 4-5-1 I don't mind so much away but it didn't work against Gillingham, or Oxford, or quite a few games. Kee has done well recently done well again today, he should have started.
WE NEED 3-4 ADDITIONS ASAP.
