Seems to have done well in all the matches he's played this season.
He's a good shot stopper and did pull of some good saves last night but he is not the tallest so I don't think he's the best on crosses and every now and then he makes a mistake, but he's still only young.

Are you sure you're not talking about Martin Rice? ;-)

All keepers make mistakes, it's just that experienced keepers shake them off more easily than younger less experienced keepers do. When I was a teenager being coached by John Burridge he always said that young keepers will always make mistakes amd suffer a lack of confidence but that an old campaigner like himself would just wait for the next save and feed off that. That simple bit of advice instantly made me a better keeper, unfortunately though there are fans that make it well known they have no knowledge of these things while constantly barracking someone like Rice. This spell in the first team will do him the world of good as long as people stay off his back.

Could I just make a comment on the commentary on Gullsplayer for this match, I noticed that Steve Breed got some criticism
for his commentary on the Newport game, unfairly in my opinion, and to give him his due he came out on Monday night and gave another good performance. Also the summarizer Paul did an excellent job, Paul and Steve should definitely do more games together, maybe first team games?? Anyone listening........ Radio Devon :)

Spot on mate but the problem is when a player makes a mistake more often than not they get away with it, but with a keeper it always leads to a goal and then the pressure from the fans begin.
