Relegation confirmed surely
Surest tonight's results have confirmed our relegation
We lose
Exeter win
Mansfield win
Northampton drawing
It's hard to take but there's no need for anger as I have already accepted relegation a month ago. But it's so disappointing our squad ON paper is not performing to their potential.

Players, chief ex. other board members, manger none of them have even looked like performing let alone achieving their true potential. Ironic that CH catch phrase upon return was "let's all start pulling in the same direction" We all thought you meant out the shit mate not further in it!lucy6lucy wrote:Surest tonight's results have confirmed our relegation

Not confirmed but highly likely.
Probbaly need 4 or 5 wins from last 7 games.
Not impossible with the fixtures we have but highly improbable especially as the team show no sign of putting together such a run.
Saturday looks as if it will be my trip down the road to see us at Southend for a while - Braintree next year.

Life is like TUFC. Perfect moments can be had, but not preserved, except in memory.

No he hasn't. He has been a dismal failure.

Still at least there are only 2 more years on his contract.
Thank God the board had the sense to give a 2.5 year contract to a complete novice to appease the fan base - it could have been someone with no tactical nous, no ability to motivate and no contacts!!

Not confirmed yet but with Souhend and Scunthorpe as our next two matches, it could well be virtually confirmed by 4.45 on April 5th. Seven games to go and a minimum of 15 points required - five wins or four wins and three draws. It aint going to happen, is it ??

And so was Alan Knill, a dismal failure. Hargreaves is an inexperienced manager and, sadly, it shows, he needs help from an experienced manager. Knill on the other hand is an experienced manager, it didn't show and his performance at Torquay was inexcusable.stefano wrote:Spot on! There are none so blind as those that will not see!

That view would be fine if it were true. Unfortunately not a semblance. Understandable though. Supporting the worst football team in the entire Football League (if not the Universe) makes people imagine and say all sorts of strange things.gullintwoplaces wrote: And so was Alan Knill, a dismal failure. All the best football managers had, and have, a streak of ruthlessness in them. Chris Hargreaves has not yet acquired such a streak. He'd best do so pretty quickly, or his career as a football manager will be a very short-lived one..
As for relegation being confirmed, obviously it won't be confirmed until it's mathematically impossible to avoid it.

I see this morning that once again the club is promoting next season's prices and purchasing £10 vouchers for family/friends. It really beggars belief.
