Player recruitment is everything this summer. Our strength last time was that Paul Buckle knew the Conference and had the budget to sign whoever he wanted. This summer, we have 12 players under contract, a much lower budget and a duo who won't have the same knowledge of the Conference.

It will be harder for us than last time, but as long as we don't implode financially then a top half finish is pretty much guaranteed due to the size of some of the clubs we'll face. Whether we can turn that into a play-off push and challenge for promotion depends on how well we do this summer.

Last time we went for proven Conference players, this summer we may have to go with untried youngsters from above, which is riskier, but if we can get Cargill back, and sign a few more like him, then it takes a bit of strain off the budget and gives us some added quality.

I would like nothing better than the fairy tale to come true and everything to go Chris's way, I don't doubt his love for the club at all. But the reality is he showed inexperience and lack of strength of character in having "mates" that ultimately cost us. We were in big trouble before he came relegation wasn't totally his fault, but had he have shown stronger leadership and done what was required, who knows?

Fresh start with a Hargreaves' team, why not. Judge him in January 2015.

No, not for me. Relegation wasn't totally his fault but we had a chance of survival when he arrived and there has been no change to our form or style of play since he's been here.

The heart has been totally ripped out of the club and this will take a few years to rectify.
TUFC never fails to let its fanbase down.

27/08/18 - Time to step back from this shambles and focus on things in life that make me happy. TUFC doesn't.

Hargreaves on the war path tonight on the radio. The players arn't good enough. Theres only three players here good enough. He certainly did not mince his words thats for sure.
One thing in his favour is he is a winner. But he has a massive job on his hands.

If he did say that, and means it, then I'm delighted. As I totally agree with him. Now ship them out Chris

Let's see this backed up by action. Get **** rid of the lot then Chris and get the last one to shut the door on the way out.
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

I'm not going to vote in this because I'm not 100% convinced he will fail. I expect him to based on what I've seen of him even taking everything into account but I think there could be a few surprises up his sleeve. Hopefully. If there aren't then clearly he will fail.
