Good luck to a team like Welling (outside of our games) and let’s not all kid ourselves that we are a million miles away from the size of club they currently are.
I hope CH and the players give them the respect they deserve as if not they could easily do a number on us and Louis will have to put a link for the Samaritans on here for most!
We thought we'd walk Harrogate in the FA cup 2 seasons ago and look how that turned out...

[quote="Oil Beef Hooked"]Looks like a few Welling fans have looked at our forum and have reacted to some of the comments on here :~D

Ha, ha, ha - How dare they call Pea (alias Matt) Pea Brain ??? Sorry Matt - you laid yourself open by describing Welling as a team of bricklayers and plumbers.

Donning my anorak, I looked back at some of their results last season. They seem to be draw specialists having drawn 12 of their games and most of the games they lost. they lost by one goal. They beat Grimsby, hammered Forest Green 5 - 2 and took four points from Gateshead. They lost home and away to Luton 2 -1 both times so certainly no walkover. We take them for granted at our peril ..............

Being an accomplished bricklayer or plumber is far more difficult than kicking a ball around, and as none of our lot are accomplished at football it seems most of the talent is in the away team ;-)

The difference being footballers have to turn up in time for kick off. Plumbers turn up when they feel like it .... ;-)

Good goal. Although he would have had a lot more space in our penalty area and wouldn't have needed three touches ;-)

Good man indeed Brucie, whilst I'm not going tonight, will be Saturday though. As for this thing on the Welling forum, there has to be a balance, nothing wrong with being honest, our team should beat Welling at home, and us fans shouldn't feel scared to say that, however we should also pay the right respect to our opponents as well, we've been here before and played part time teams who've given a rough ride, I expect the same tonight.

That's the spirit Brucie

I'll also be there with my little ankle biter.

Here's hoping for a decent performance, all 3 points and a big smile on all our faces at the end.

C'mon you Yellows :scarf:
