A team with issues scoring goals up against a team with defensive issues.

We are making Alfreton look like world beaters up front.

Any danger of Pearce actually winning a header?

Defensively shambolic. If CH doesn't back Hutchings against Hawley who wasn't deemed good enough for our team then why on earth are we even bothering to have him on the books?

Can't imagine any neutrals are watching this!

If Richards goes the full 90 at CB we're going to need to score 6 goals to win this game.

Embarassing, that was actually pathetic. Has Wakefieild touched the ball in the first half? Rice is useless - we should able 3-1 down. Hargreaves is an idiot. Playing Richards at centre half is ridiculous.
The worst 45 minutes I have seen in 50 years of being a Torquay supporter. We should be ashamed of ourselevs.

Oh dear ... surely the worst 45 minutes of our season so far???? We look really fragile at the back and clearly the "Richards experiment" isn't working but not only that but we seem completely bereft of ideas going forward... where is Luke Young, where is Josh Wakefield, what has Courtney Cameron done?

Really disappointing and quite honestly embarrassing in front of the TV cameras!

Even playing as terribly as we are we're still obviously miles better than Alfreton. They can't handle Ajala. We have more goals in us. But with our shambolic defense we'll be giving up goals too. This could end 4-4.

All over the shop - shambolic defending! Let's hope for a better 2nd half.

Utterly embarrassing. Release Hutchings now and recruit a loan CB as cover if Richards is deemed a better option. I love Hargreaves, but so far he has got this so wrong tonight.

Yes, I've been really impressed with Ajala.

Maybe Pearce isn't that fussed about missing out next week when we have Downes and Angus back - because on current showing, there is no way he can be better than the other two.

What Greavsie should have done is played our proper CB - Hutchings - and then protected them by playing Richards just in front of them.

That way we would have had a natural back four, and then a bit more help for them just in front of them.
