Was he wearing a tinfoil hat at the time? Are you wearing one now?

I was rather hoping that the new BUYERS might have the interests of the football club in their mind, but indeed, you could be right and they may just be property speculators with an ulterior motive!

Hopefully Mrs Bristow will kick that ball into touch before signing anything over.

On today's HE podcast DT reckons everything is proceeding with news imminent either this side of the weekend or just after. Still no clues on who the mystery new owners are but although they don't live locally they have West Country connections.

Didn't Roberts' mother's family come from Devon?

He didn't have a mother - he was the spawn of the devil.

Memories are very short! His mum was, allegedly, a spy.

Probably! She was a big noise in the Labour Party.

I think we also need something radical like this to get a lot more people back at Plainmoor

We tried a cut price season ticket the last time we were in the conference. Posted a big loss for the season and crowds still dropped.

That's not quite correct, the cut price season ticket applied for our first season back in the football league, our average went up from 2,325 to 2,858, number of season ticket holders went up as well. Yes the club did post a big loss, wasn't down to gates.

Just add, I, in no way think the club should go down the road of offering another cut price season ticket deal, was a season ticket holder for eight seasons myself, I would not buy one next season even if the price was dropped, think many others will feel the same.

The only way I will be renewing my season-ticket is if they were ridiculously cheap or TUST ran the club. Otherwise, I won't be - not that they have been advertised yet. I remember this time last year was around the time the original early bird offer finished.

According to Merse on the London site, news around midnight is that a deal seems to have failed. Christ this is looking bad.
I just hope he has been mis informed.
