No button down collars (no buttons at all), no lace up collars. Otherwise happy to have something that doesn't look too European or Rugby League.
Like current kit but as stripes (not hoops).

Loving the white shirts with the yellow and blue sash/stripes.
Yellow fading into blue is ok but I wouldn't personally want to wear it.

Bored at work (again!) so played about with this idea... it's a mixture of 'old' and 'new'.
I quite like our current kit, but I also like the 'retro' flash, a collar and, more importantly to us old gits, our old club badge which is much 'classier' than our 'motorola' rip off.
A few comments have been made in the past about wearing blue shorts and white socks with the current kit, hence the option above.

Quite a nice kit that, I would be quite impressed if they had it, badge is better.
LesLawrences afro, could you tell me what you used to knock up the design because everything I have tried to download and use hasnt worked, various photoshops and templates either dont complete or dont work at all.Thanks.

Chunky... I actually downloaded the template from the official website.... then took it into Photoshop and stripped everything away apart from the outline and saved it as a grayscale .tif so it would be 'transparent'. Then took the outline into Quark and just using the 'polygon' tool, simple rules and text created the backgrounds etc and then brought the outline of the kit to the front to 'mask out'. I doubt if that'll make sense to most people!

Love the sash and the old badge, can we start a campaign for us to go back to that? Our current one is an embarrassment.

Sorry LLA (nothing personal) but I don't like the collar... or the sash and the the old badge still has the 'motorola' element in the centre but I prefer the current version of the badge.
Motorola's 'M' element was registered in 1955, so ours could be a 'rip-off' but I'll leave that to any TUFC Historians to verify! It did start out the other way up (I think)? There seems to be no evidence that ours was worn on shirts until the late 60's but as a club badge it might have existed before then.
Mervo might know.

Bloggy... no offence taken... everyone has their own ideas of what is good, bad and ugly. It really is just an 'idea'.
Regarding the 'motorola' element of the old badge, you are correct that the 'M' did in fact start the other way up and it looked like two separate lower-case 'v's side by side with nothing else around it. I just think the older badge looks 'classier' and like most club crests shows elements of the town's history etc. The current one is just a gull icon and we all know how f**king irritating they can be!
