Woking v Torquay Tuesday 13 Septamber 2016 (k.o.7:45 pm)
The Gulls play away at Woking Tuesday evening (k.o. 7:45 pm), and should feel fairly confident after improved performances in recent games. On 13th October last year the same fixture resulted in a 2-2 draw, but it's fair to say that our performances have generally improved in quality since then.
In fact, the next couple of games provide us with a great opportunity to climb into the top half of the table. We are currently 14th in the table on 13 points. Woking are 3rd from bottom with 5 points.
There will be a couple of familiar faces in the Woking team: Michael Poke in goal, and Brian Saah, both of whom will provide no easy obstacle to our lads, though nothing, I’m sure, that we cannot overcome if we go into the game with the right attitude.
Last nine games:
Torquay: LWDLLWWLW
Woking: LDLLLLWLD
Last time out:
Woking drew 1-1 at fellow strugglers Guiseley with a late equaliser from Dennon Lewis (their leading scorer with three goals so far this season). Woking’s team: Poke, Caprice, Ralph, Murtagh, Saah, Jones, Essam, Kretzschmar, Lewis, Ugwu, Sam-Yorke. Subs: Penny, Carter, Saraiva, Hall, Kandi.
The Gulls beat York City 2-0 with a brace from Nathan Blissett. Our team: Moore, Rowe-Turner, McGinty, Richards, Young, Gallifuoco, Ward, Sparkes, Verma, Reid, Blissett. Subs: Gerring, Chaney, Williams, Scrivens, Robba.
I’m going to stick my neck out and forecast another 2-0 win for the Gulls; I don’t care who scores the goals.

I'll be there with the usual lot on the coach, should be a good atmosphere! No drum as they only allow the drum on the terrace with no roof (that's what happened last season), so fans are heading behind the goal, the first stand that'll you see as you walk through the turnstiles. Look out for the large "The Yellow Army" banner.

I hope that we can pick up some point tonight. 5 or more from the next three games is a must if we are going to push on at all in this league.
