Football League Show
Hi All did anyone see the piece on us on the FLS on Saturday night, thought it was quite good but how come Manse seemed to be in every shot, coming off the coach, in his room with Nicho, at lunch, then at dinner etc etc I forgot about Bevs nearly dying after having a kidney out a few years ago !

In fairness, I think he nearly died, THEN had a kidney out.
Does anyone remember the story on the blog about Bevs being chatted up by a woman (rumour has it it was Jane, as she has mistaken him, in the dim light of a seedy Torquay nightclub, for Jesus) when she asked if she could buy him a drink, he responded with.
"Sorry love, I don't drink, I only have one kidney."
Matt.

I think young westy might take a "dim view" of the direction that this thread is taking.
I wouldn't want to be in your shoes boys... :?

I wouldn't mention shoes, Young miss Jane has been known to kill men for taking in vain the name of her beloved 'Shoes'.

Dear gintonic,
Many apologies for your thread going completely off topic. I put the high jinx down to the excitement of the site being back.
Sorry again,
westy
Dear rest of you, but especially Brehaut,
you're soooooo marked men

Unfortunately, it seems the brightness of the media spotlight was something of a distraction, and we took our eyes off the ball.

"Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something."
I've been critical of the FLS in the past, but it was a good piece. Quite lengthy and good to see our lads get some coverage (even if it did backfire).
It did make me laugh when people emailed in to answer the '5 and 8' crossword clue for former Torquay manager. Leroy's acting was top notch.
