Doesn't sound plausible to me. I'd say this is a non-starter.

What makes you say that? Seems obvious to me. The manager knows him, he knows the club. He's hardly seen any playing time so far this season (which considering Rovers are in the League One play-offs isn't that surprising.) He's 34 years old, so should just be at the end of his peak - hopefully 6-7 months full blast to help save us, a summers rest and then one more season still playing well helping us back to the promised land.ferrarilover wrote:Doesn't sound plausible to me. The more I think about this the more my rose-tinted spectacles are getting back their lustre!

None of that's untrue, Phil, but the game's more complex than that these days, more's the pity.

I'd love to see Manse back at Plainmoor if only so that other players in the side can see what giving 100% for ninety-plus minutes really means. My concerns would be that as he and Nicho are such good mates, how would he cope with Nicho being the boss, and on the basis of three's a crowd, how would the close friendship impact on Robbie Herrara ?

Make mansell captain, Richards leaves, and hopefully a few others will follow. I mean can you imagine the players being given an instruction on the pitch, they would go into meltdown.tomogull wrote:I'd love to see Manse back at Plainmoor if only so that other players in the side can see what giving 100% for ninety-plus minutes really means. Given his regular attendance at games I can only assume Raachi either is no where near fit or is looking to be paid more 1 mouldy peanut a week.Dutchgull wrote:Manse the guy who blamed everybody else except himself....no thanks Danny Racchi anyday
*Edit. I'm guessing it's more to do with fitness, otherwise why would he continue hanging around like he appears to be.

This one, Phil, you've got half right (if Danny is to be believed).

I see Fitzpatrick has extended his loan for another month. Has anyone seen him play/what's he like?
Also, can anyone tell me if Palfrey still with us?
