New Players/Loan
Even if no additional players are to be brought in for the final ten or so games of the season, I hope at least Jared Hodgkiss loan can be extended as he has been a useful signing. He has played well at right back and he's vocal. Surely, there must be some money left in the Players Fund ?? Does anyone know when Hodgkiss loan runs out?

Another day nearer the March 30 transfer deadline; Hodgkiss about to leave after tonight's game and then the current 'squad' down to 17; silence from GI, silence from the General Manager, silence from the HE.
If this is to be the future of TUFC just wonder how many will stay loyal.

It's nor rocket science to realise that this is patently NOT the way to run a football club and that the people doing so in this manner are totally incompetent in presenting a professional and fan-friendly operation as such.
The sorry thing is that they might well 'have a plan' but there is no-one with the common sense to present this to their ever diminishing support base in an effort to get them onside. They get away with this because of the indolence and complicity of the local media who consistently fail to take them to task. Players floundering in the position in the league that they are in; management failing to put things right (for maybe quite understandable reasons) and an ownership seemingly buried in the world of 'commercial confidentiality' at the expense of public relations and a surely much needed connectivity with the community and fan base.

Nicho says he is close to a couple of signings but it may take a few more days, so who do you believe?
Why would he say that if not true?
Just hope its a striker, Hodgkiss leaving is a blow, hopefully Verma will play there as he did well there last
season, or GG, tho hope not, Richards back soon to cover Verma, not the answer I know, would rather a loan
midfielder and striker, really pushing our luck to hope to stay up without additions

it will be interesting to see if Glordie is right. Nicho not being allowed to sign any more players. it will defiantly show GL's intent. but all we can do is keep on to the council and make them see sense and not allow GL to get their hands on the stadium or grounds unless there is another stadium actually finished and ready to move into. only then allow the move. and say to the council they should take over as owners. GL get their land. they hand over a stadium to the council a stadium fit for purpose and able to generate other income. we get to be tenants and able to generate that income with the protection of the council as landlords and GL can hand us over to someone else. I said a long long time ago that i didn't trust them and nothing has been done to prove otherwise.

We have 8 games of the season left. The transfer deadline is in 9 days and the season ends within 5/6 weeks of today.
The sale of Blissett was agreed in December 2016, and still there is no replacement, despite the transfer fee and wages generated from the sale. We haven't even yet spent the money generated from this, nevermind our new owners taking over a side in a relegation battle and trying to save us.
Ten years ago today we signed David Graham back on loan from Sheffield Wednesday. We were doomed that year but Bateson still tried to save us. That's the difference between the intentions of all our previous owners and GI - we've been in great escapes many times before, but we've never previously just let relegation happen.

But remember too, the second tranche of the MacDonald money ~ £50K negotiated down to £40K ~ was trousered early by the outgoing board to pay the December wages thus denying the manager (possibly) having it put into his playing budget from the new owners.Gulliball wrote: 21 Mar 2017, 22:56 The sale of Blissett was agreed in December 2016, and still there is no replacement, despite the transfer fee and wages generated from the sale.
Our squad, finances and ownership are in a worse state than last year. Without investment we are a dead team walking!
