I see Cardiff are still hoping to receive loan offers for Lee Tomlin (29) and Anthony Pilkington (30), both forward players with plenty of pedigree.,
If the are not loaned out with one week remaining in the EFL loan window (which shuts on August 31), maybe Warnock will do us a favour and point them in our direction on favourable loan terms rather than have them sitting in the stands.
Wishful thinking maybe, but you never know a players circumstances.
Delusional may be more appropriate. I put it down to my mistrust of the future of Torquay Utd which makes it hard for me to give up the past. A time when we signed players who in previous seasons played for a team that had won the Euro Cup and the the FA Cup. Now all we have left is discussion on whether a 16 year schoolboy playing youth football can change our fortunes.
I continue to live in hope rather than die in despair

Empathise! Were the 60’s and early 70s all in vain?
None of our 8o years as a Football League club has been in vain! nor either was the beginning or our recent decline back into the abyss! Whilst staunch Torquay supporters exist nothing is in vain. The history of Torquay United is but a biography of its great supporters.
Now that Gary Johnson IS in place, it seems very likely that he'll have one or two available Players in mind - or they'll have him in mind. Surely we might see arrivals before the Woking game ? Nothing on the airwaves yet ? Any time now ?
GJ can get much more out of the current Squad so onwards and upwards !
A Gloucestershire Live sports journalist has tweeted that he expects us to sign Kalvin Kalala after his release from Cheltenham Town today. Kalala was scouted at trials by Pete Johnson and signed by Gary J.
Just looked and David Fitzpatrick who was down on loan to us from afc Wimbledon is currently a free agent after being released by barrow personally I’d love to see him back down here
