Even if gills salvage an unlikely draw it is a better scenario than any torquay fan could have imagined. everyone of us expected a heavy macclesfield defeat didn't we?

Well they've failed to win their last 3 home games against Barnet, Morecambe and Hereford - so I think it would have been pessimistic to assume that the Gills would slaughter Macc today

Couldn't be going better so far! If the results stay as they are at half-time we only need next week Gillingham to lose at Chesterfield or Stevenage to lose to Bury, and we could actually lose at Rotherham but still be in the play-offs. Not what we would want of course as it's best to go in to the play-offs on a high, and I feel next week our luck is going to change in front of goal and we will stride confidently into the play-offs with a 3-0 win! :scarf:

Just seen the latest scores, oh god please let it stay that way!

I just hope Macc don't play like they did against us about a month or so ago - cynical timewasting and inviting pressure. The Gills have plenty of attacking power, playing like that would be suicide. Finish the job Macc lads!

It could be important to note that AC Northampton are kicking off the second half rather late so could be a period of nailbiting come quarter to 5

Accrington pretty much secure themselves 5th place. I hope we join them in the playoffs but don't get them in the semi's! Although I'd take that if we get into the top 7 - I'd give anything to go there!

Pretty sure that when the point comes off we'll fall below them both, so we'll have to get a result at Rotherham to have a chance.

That point is the difference between it being in our hands still and not. It's also the difference between Stevenage and Gillingham both having to get a result, to it being us who has to get the result.
