The wind may even things up and the game may well be won by the team that adapts to the conditions best.
Keep the ball on the ground and shoot from distance with the wind behind.

In this League we all know by now that anyone can beat anyone on the day.
Often games are decided by the Officials whose degree of competence varies hugely.
I still cannot get over the Ref at Ashton Gate on June 20th denying us not one but two perfectly good goals.
I never call my team crap and certainly not this team who are committed but simply lack quality in the final third.
Now I have said that we will be red hot today and win 4-1. I doubt it but in Football you never know which is why the bookies always win in the end.

Not a bad first half performance but nothing special
Their goal looked soft, McDonald could have done better?
He had a few handling errors early on
When we've kept it down we've created chances

You do make me laugh. You must have been the lousiest employee to ever indulge in anything to do with psychiatry. As you'll know very well from our previous private correspondence I'm polite and respectful and fair minded. How I'm perceived publicly is of no concern to me.dawlishmatt wrote: 27 Nov 2021, 10:34
There is a term in the world of Psychiatry called Gaslighting. Gaslighting is a form of psychological abuse where a person will often use a forum or another platform of debate to abuse someone if they disagree with another persons opinions. These people often feel Anxious, Confused and try to use abuse to try and control or feel superior to others. In turn, many others will jump on the bandwagon and support the abuser therefore making the gaslighter feel superior to others.
People like Southampton Gull, SuperNickyWroe and more recently UnitedinDevon as well as many others don't seem able to have a proper debate on this forum without throwing insults into the mix. This is because they, in my opinion, are gaslighting.
Finally, i fully expect Southampton Gull to remove this post as that's the sort of behaviour i would expect from a gaslighter.
You bring it all on yourself..... No different to myself. The difference is I don't whine about it

3-0 down. It has come to that time when if the manager can't get the players or they don't do what he says then he has to go.

I have support the team for many years and this is one of the worst. And results are showing that.UnitedinDevon wrote: 27 Nov 2021, 16:30 If you want to back the moron feel free Jpr

Time for McDonald to go, not good enough, he's gifted Halifax 2 goals today

Crazy end, 2 goals at the death
Matters little, we are in a relegation scrap now.

Agreed! Thankfully only 3 get relegated this year and Dover have one of those spots!
The last 3 games we were all hoping for 7 points to kick start the season. We got 0
Such a nightmare after the joy of last season.
Going to be a long season of usual torquay disappointment I predict!
I suppose it will not be long for the Johnson out thread to start!!!

We need to keep Johnson as no other manager’s out there with any pedigree, we have got a few good players for next season but we need dead wood out in January. and I have never rated McDonald but as with him and the rest of the team this is what we have got, and will have until the end of season. Just hope we stay up but the cards where on the table right from the Plymouth friendly game. We are not good enough.
