Frome Town v Torquay United Sat 9th Dec 3pm KO
United make the short journey to Frome tomorrow in the F A Trophy for a place in the last 16.
After 3 wins in a row scoring 9 goals and conceding 3 we expect to win but Frome are hard to beat at Home having won 9 out of 10 in recent years when playing at home against higher Division Teams.
They play in the Southern League Div 1 (South) and are 3rd with 3 games in hand of Wimborne who are Top. We beat Wimborne in the FA Cup 3-0 away so that gives some sort of clue to the result.
With so many players injured it is good news that Will Jenkins Davies is back at Plainmoor.
I am going 3-1 to the Gulls. COYY.

Frome Town are looking forward to your visit tomorrow- it'll be a big partisan and lively crowd tomorrow in the wind and rain.
How many do you think you will bring?

That is correct but it is still interesting to gauge general expectation levels. I think this is a 3-0 TUFC win

We are obviously a little short on first team numbers but given we are a professional team and two divisions higher, this is a game we should be winning. A chance for our squad players to show they are capable! 3-1 win for TUFC.

Difficult one to predict until we know the starting 11. The last two games, especially Tuesdays must have expended a lot of energy, will the available players be able to go full out so soon after?
Hopefully a 2-1 win and no injuries.
Short journey by our standards, but for a minor competition our away support could be anywhere between 50 and 250!

Five under 18s in squad. One Wellington starts up front. Jenkins-Davies only professional outfield player on bench.

We are in the second minute of added on time, still 4-1 up, just three minutes to "hang on"
Pity it was not three points.

Took the last minute decision not to go lol
Credit where it’s due, 1-4 away is never easy against anyone in any competition at whatever level and doesn’t happen without hard work. Therefore that performance has to be applauded by even Johnson's harshest critics.

I agree that is what should of been reported but someone from the club, that you would assume was watching the game should be getting the names correct.portugull wrote: 09 Dec 2023, 23:47 No.Calum Thomas.
Dolan came off the bench for Fleetwood who lost again.
I know Dolan played at Northampton as a sub. No
