Quite a club aren't we?
Good luck to Gulls in the coming season.
Had lunch with your new Gaffer on Sunday and he's right up for it I can tell you.

Thank you very much, Plymouth.

Absolutely! Fantastic gesture from our fellow professional clubs in Devon. I would be lying if I didn’t admit that my feelings towards both clubs have “mellowed” over the last couple of years. Great support from both of them in recent times - at times like these you realise we are all DEVON!Skillsy wrote: 25 Jul 2024, 17:46 Thank you very much, Plymouth.

To be fair we have done the same for both clubs in their hour of need so it was us that set the precedent of being "quite a club"CP Gull wrote: 25 Jul 2024, 19:16 Absolutely! Greatly appreciated nevertheless, after all they didn't have too.
Exeter game should be interesting. They didn't 'like it up em' last season!!!
And how everyone got carried away with that result and performance.

Unfortunately we played like it was the cup final, not a friendly. There's competitive and there's being stupid, we could have had injuries and so could they.
I loved the performance on the day, it was only now looking back i realise it was a bit sad really.
My feelings towards Plymouth have mellowed, had some unpleasant times in the 90s at Home Park. City or at least some of their teenage supporters seem to have a beef with some of ours.
I imagine if we ever play either of them regularly again, then the rivalry would return, as it should, although minus the silly stuff.
