Where are they now?

Post by portugull »

On the eve of a New Season were we are all looking forward to 2024/25 I wondered what happened to last seasons players many of whom sadly disappointed.

Brett McGavin Yeovil 4 June

Kevin Dawson Gloucester City 6 June

Calum Thomas Tiverton 6 June

Asa Hall Tiverton 12 June. You will be missed Asa.

Aaron Jarvis Yeovil 14 June

Jack Stobbs Buxton 18 June

Ethon Archer Cheltenham On Trial 5 July

Rhys Lovett Welling 13 July

Mark Halstead Widnes 3 August

Ross Marshall Dulwich 8 August

Dan Martin Welling 9 August.

Tom Lapslie is injured and we all wish Laps a full recovery and hope we may see him in a Torquay United shirt next year.

6 players remain at Plainmoor led by Dean Moxey plus Brad Ash, Ollie Tomlinson, Finley Craske, Austin Booth and Jacob Wellington.

Lewis Collins has I believe quit Pro Football.

Ethon Archer has signed a contract with Cheltenham. That famous Johnson contact book comes to the fore once again!

All at the expected level though thought Halstead might do better than Widnes
Bench at best for McGavin at Yeovil.
