Surely tonight can't be as dull as the dishwater of Saturday?? Just hoping that PW focussed on the total lack of anything... ideas, creativity, movement .. during training to get some enthusiasm into the guys.
OK still hanging on to an optimistic outlook that this time (!!) that there will be some quicker movement and flair so predicting again a 3-1 win. 2950 crowd as it's gonna be a bit cold tonight

In both the salisbury and tonbridge game we deserved nothing but got away with it, we lacked creativity, had too many touches when one was called for and generally were bereft of ideas, while the squad has been inproved, the team hasn't. We are due for a harsh lesson and tonight could be that game, They have a centre half who could clean lighthouse windows without a ladder and two very fast wingers, I am going 2-0 maidstone and will quite happily take the flack if I am proved wrong.

I don't know how you say we deserved nothing from the Tonbridge game. We lacked ideas going forward, but they never troubled our goal and Hamon could have had his feet up for most of the game.culmstockgull wrote: 12 Nov 2024, 12:12 In both the salisbury and tonbridge game we deserved nothing but got away with it, we lacked creativity, had too many touches when one was called for and generally were bereft of ideas, while the squad has been inproved, the team hasn't. Like you I went to Both Salisbury and Tonbridge, I don't agree with this view point either. As said already Tonbridge didn't force a single save from Hamon on Saturday, and for all Salisbury's huff and puff they didn't trouble our goal much either, once the substitutions were made last Tuesday and our team got on top and there was only one winner from there.culmstockgull wrote: 12 Nov 2024, 12:12 In both the salisbury and tonbridge game we deserved nothing but got away with it.

We all know Maidstone are a strong team, going to be tough one, however under PW we've been dominate at home.
