I was about 80 mins ahead of you with my 1-0 Enfield win ruined by our suddenly prolific strike force!

Great result, I was fearing another Hornchurch but hopefully it looks like the team are growing in belief and confidence and continuing to gel and find more fluidity and threat in attack.
So important to have a WJD type player in midfield, think Adam Randel in our all but promotion team of 2021, and Will a Torquay born Grammar School boy to be proud of

A nice but odd ground. Wasn’t going to go due to running track but having looked it up I saw the ends were inside the track and we were pretty close to the action there. Nice bar area! Even going 1-0 down I always thought we’d go on and win and it, thought Mussa was involved a lot at that point and he looks to be getting fitter, WJD continuing with bundles of energy. His loan expires in jan I think, he’s starting to run into form, Plymouth doing badly?????
Game went a bit flat at 3-1, but credit to the Gulls fans behind the goal for keeping the rhythm going with a prolonged whatever it is (drum, clap and la la la la la ). It lifted the atmosphere certainly. Good afternoon out!

I do hope that WJD stays at Torquay until the end of the season to help the Gulls gain promotion. Having a promising young player around the debacle that is the current Argyle team team would do him no favours at all. I say that as an Argyle fan primarily, who also supports Torquay and attends a few home games each season.

A fairly straightforward win against poor opposition. United recovered well after conceding a needless penalty in the first minute, and the result was never really in doubt. The team held their shape well, and the defence was very solid. Smart move from the corner which resulted in the 3rd goal, after which the game dropped off a bit . WJD took his goals well; it would be a great shame if he went back to Argyle in January as he is a class above most of our other midfield players. Friendly and well organised club, albeit with a fairly weird ground . I paid an extra £3 to sit in the "grandstand", only to find that the roof leaked on three quarters of the seats ! United had about 350/400 of the 1000 crowd, and more than matched the home fans for noise.

So having watched these highlights, it wasn’t Sam Dreyer that gave away the penalty as has been widely reported.

Like Southampton Gull I predicted a 2-1 win for United

Was it was 2-1 at half time, do we get a point for that ...Just saying.

Glad in the end for the 4-1 result. COYY
