Torquay v Horsham FA Trophy Sat 7th Dec 3pm
Can we score 4 (or more) for the 3rd game in a row?
On paper, we could/should... but this being played on grass in front of an unknown quantity in Horsham FC (remember Bishops Cleeve anyone?).
The Hornets visit Plainmoor sitting 14th in the Isthmian Premier but despite their league position, they will be well up for this.
I'll go for a comfortable 5-0 home win with approx 100 making the trip down from West Sussex with an attendance of 2,200.
Note: this is not part of the prediction league

TUFC 5-0 Horsham
2-0 home win. I dont care for the competition, however, as i cant go to Slough on 4th Jan (next round) 'i would love it if we beat them'

Horsham fan here looking forward to Saturday but casting nervous glances at the weather.
Given the forecast for rain and strong winds, is there any real risk that the game gets postponed?

They've beaten Maidstone and Dorking this season so no mugs !
Bit of a mixed bag weather wise down here today and tomorrow. Looks like showers and strong winds throughout Saturday but we have an excellent pitch and groundstaff so should be okay.Obergruppenfuhrer wrote: 05 Dec 2024, 17:17 Horsham fan here looking forward to Saturday but casting nervous glances at the weather.

The pitch looked like it held up well during the WSM game depsite the terrential weather and multiple knee slides! Its had a good time to recover since then, so hopefully no issues for the game tomorrow.
