I wonder who the player was who turned us down at the last minute.
My money is on sam pearson , who last night signed for weston super mare from yeovil, a fast forward.

Choosing Weston over us?!
Can't have been for more money?

Weston is close to Cardiff, where Pearson lives. I can't see Torquay as being somewhere Pearson would really want to play as he apparently travels to and from Cardiff daily. Weston makes sense, Torquay doesn't.

Looks like Crosbie went off with a hamstring injury today for Gloucester City

Attacking midfielder Dylan Morgan has signed on a permanent deal (until May 2026) from Yeovil.

It will be interesting to see how the squad involves, will the two come back from Bath, or will we offload permanently or more loans?

It is clear we were chasing a lot of players in the summer who were hesitant about coming to us, that has changed, things continue to get better.

Listening to the Chairman’s talk, I think contingencies are being lined up in the event of a Cooke injury.

All good news.

Our squad was obviously assembled over a very short space of time in the summer, with at least some of them being signed as there wasn’t much else available. Time is now showing Wotton which of that squad have a future here, being successful on the field and with an upturn in finances means he is now able to actively recruit players he wants.

It’s fantastic tbh, not a mass incoming of new players, but a player signed when he becomes available/is wanted, Yeovil fans seem unhappy about losing the latest one to us. As for our current squad/loans to other clubs, you feel between now and next season several will be moved on, unless we have a serious injury crisis.

Why this type of squad hadn’t been assembled in the last two or three seasons is bizarre, the money was available, maybe the hard work needed wasnt.

Tonks and Jeffers returned to parent clubs. Ash, Tomlinson and Crosbie all out on loan to end of season. Seymour returning but presumably not in Wotton's plans so maybe on the move.

Hopefully free up space and funds for a striker to relieve the load on and provide competetion for Cooke!
