Torquay 2 - 1 Hampton
That was good, we bring in a forward and an attacking midfielder, and then go and lose!

We've played worse and won this season.
It was one of those games where the ball just won't go in the net for us and we lose to one moment of brilliance from the opposition.
Was going to happen at some point.
Fortunately Maidstone & Borehamwood also lost.
Extremely tight at the top now - four teams on 52 points and 3 points between the top seven.

One moment of brilliance looked well offside from the Popside to me !standupsitdown wrote: 25 Jan 2025, 17:35 We've played worse and won this season.

Coming home after a loss is usuallly a reason to be down but in context we had two starting back four players out, our right back playing left back and threkeld and cooke both needing a mid season break in the sun to recover, it was enjoyable to watch and probably the best I have seen us this season, and we were doing it by one touch football which was nice to watch, I thought thomas showed how good a player he is making it look as if he had played in that position for years, I thought Palmer had his best game in a torquay shirt and his vision for a through ball was lovely to watch, Craske was a threat down the touchline and Jay had class in both feet, Their keeper played out of his skin and you can tell why he is on chelsea's books.
Oddly the result has made no difference at the top, see you at chippenham.

Can’t remember the last time we lost at home and I came home feeling proud of the team.
Fair play to the opposition. They played some decent stuff and aside of the offside issue for their goal the pass and finish were sublime .
Massive crowd with some twats in the pop side booing at the final whistle.
Big respect to fin Craske who was throwing up on the pitch but carried on regardless. Hope he is ok.

I've had to move to the bench this season. The atmosphere ruined by a handful of idiots that have no clue what encouragement looks like. They played well, but faced a GK on loan from Chelsea. He was clearly the man of the match, by some distance. We move on....tufcyellowarmy wrote: 25 Jan 2025, 19:44 Can’t remember the last time we lost at home and I came home feeling proud of the team.
