Maidstone v Torquay Sat 1st Feb 3pm
It's that time again. A visit to Legoland to take on one of our bogey sides (we've never so much as picked up a single point in five visits).
It pains me to say it, but they currently sit above us in both the league table and form guide so it doesn't bode well for Saturday.
Last time out, new league leaders Worthing handed them there first home defeat in 10 games. Let's hope we can make it their second in two!
No longer can we stand alongside the boys in their beloved Gekko stand and have them gloating when/if they score as they have switched things around and now away fans are located in a soulless corner of the stadium (get there early if you're a short-arse like me! ... and, not sure if they've sorted their catering issues, so bring a pasty or two along).
For those of you who've never had the 'pleasure' of visiting Legoland and are coming by car/tractor, there is virtually no parking at the ground but there are a couple of multi-storeys within walking distance (Fremlin Walk being quite close by and one I've used on several occasions).
I'd be happy with (another) draw on the road, but I'd be even happier with any kind of win.
So, here we go.... Maidstone 0 Torquay 3

''I was born under the Mini Stand....''
0-1 A hopeful rather than realistic appraisal.
Ive been four times to Maidstone and dont think ive ever seen a win or draw. Combined with the fact its a pretty awful place and the away end has moved to a worse location in the ground means im staying away for this one.
Becauses im not going, Gulls to snatch and grab a 1-0 away win.

Hoping our new players and a return of defenders will give us the edge in this one.

We only just squeaked it last week with an absolutely energy sapping backs to the wall effort, they battered us second half.
They could be on a wider wobble given Chelmsford on Monday though but my gut says at home they'll throw the proverbial at you too.
If you bring a proper defensive 'A game' I'd say there's something in it for you, I'll go 1-1.
Oh, and the new away section is every bit as as I'm sure ours is right now... sorry
Ran out of food early too, so eat before you go there would be sound advice
