Happened at Slough vs Bath last year as well I believe

I think that Weston winning is a good result for us as it probably means they'll be in with a chance of the play offs for their last two games - Truro & Eastbourne. Could do us a huge favour if they take points from them.
Plus, I really don't want to have to go back to Maidstone again.

You wouldn't. They're not going to make up six points on you in three games. As the higher placed club the only way you'd play them is to host them. Surely we'd far rather play a team in iffy form slipping down than one in rip-roaring form on the up.

Of course we'd all rather we play no play-off games at all, but sadly, as Connor McLeod would say... "there can be only one" ⚔️

Medical emergencies in crowds are much more commonplace than ever before. Perhaps it's time to set regulations about matches that are suspended as clearly in the instance of the Weston game, the decision to replay was not fair

:goodpost:

Maybe medical emergencies where for some reason the game is affected are much more commonplace, rather than medical emergencies per se.

Twenty years ago a game wouldn't usually be stopped or abandoned if somebody collapsed in the stands.

As WBG suggests, there needs to be some standard process here so everyone knows what to expect if it does happen.

Oh yes of course. So no trip to Maidstone. Don't want to go to Worthing either though - another small allocation and poor view.
Finishing second is a huge advantage - as it should be.

Can't argue with that. If you were to come back to Woodside though, and if you took your full 600 allocation, you would have half the new North Stand, which is elevated. That's what Dorking have got on Monday.

Looking at Maidstones final fixtures I fully expect them to finish in the playoffs over Weston-super-Mare.

Home games in the playoffs are vital. I wouldn't mind playing Worthing in their dump of a ground but we would be in for a tough game against any of the other teams in the playoffs away from home.

Let's see how today goes and go from there, a win today and a draw between Eastbourne & Worthing would be massive. At the other end of the table, a win for St Albans wouldnt be too shabby either.

Not sure why you’re thanking us as that title is in reach now for us, as you have a very hard game Monday.

Thank you for not winning today ;)

This, for sure. Not worried about Worthing they will bottle it like they did last year and no doubt will bottle the playoffs. Think Truro may just do it but we will come mightily close.

Oh for sure, we're well capable of biffing it up from here, it's only one point and we screwed up already with four of the blighters.

But had Truro gone 100% all the way home that's the automatic promotion door shut to all of us.

You've pushed the door ajar though, so even if you don't want the thanks... thank you 👌🏻

If we’re at home for our play offs game(s), I assume we’ll have to offer the whole away terrace to visiting supporters?

Not overly confident any of the teams in the play off could fill it? Maidstone maybe?

Well you could not make this up.

With just 2 games to go it is so tight made more difficult to estimate by Worthing v Dorking and WSM v Truro on Monday. If both games are drawn we would be Top on Monday night if we beat Weymouth.

It would then go to the final game. Torquay and Worthing both away and the other 3 at Home.

Our goal difference with Truro is Truro 28 and Torquay 25. We are due a big home win lets hope it is on Monday v Weymouth already relegated.

I think we can be Champions if we win both games. Hemel Hempstead are in good form only 1 loss in last 5 games.Exactly one week to go as we approach 5pm today. COYY
