Truro 3 up already, going to have to do the business in the play offs.

Damn. I forgot to predict. It's still 0-0 so I'll have a go. No problem if it is too late and not counted.

3-0 to Torquay.

To be honest that's probably best for us because Hemel won't be easy to beat and just winning and getting 3 points is crucial to get the opportunity of hosting 2 games to achieve promotion.

Jordan Young and Cody Cooke have put us 2 nil up so currently looking likely to seal second spot being Champions elect Truro who are 4-1 up at home.

321 Position 2 accomplished. It's always better to go up via the play-offs! :-)

Had a great day out, could have easily won that by more and had Jay scored just before half time it may have been interesting but the early goals for Truro rather popped the balloon. Great credit to the team for continuing to push and fantastic effort by the fans. Onward and upwards and on to next week.

Firstly, I hope the lady who needed medical treatment at kick off is ok.

Kick off delayed by about 4 minutes meant Truro were 1 up before we really got going. Two more Truro goals in quick succession quietened down the amazing Torquay support which was a shame.

Luckily the team started on the front foot and it was an entertaining match from start to end. We should have scored a couple more in the first half and the ref and lino our side did their best to ruin a few of our best opportunities.

Notably an offside when our offside player did not involve himself in play. Too late the flag was up!!

All in all an enjoyable match and for about 5 mins in the mid second half we were within a goal of being top!

Shout out to their physio who was a solid citizen when he came on with the magic sponge…

Main thing is we secured second and we get a week of rest, can do some proper scouting of the playoff on Tuesday and rest our weary legs!
