I was just reading Devon Live, it says the Torquay supporters will be feeling positive and excited. I'd better tell that to my jangly nerves then.

As we all know anything can happen in the lottery of the play offs. A cup competition which for a few more goals we should have avoided. I sincerely hope we are not rueing these 1-0 and missed chances come the end of play today.

Anyone else watching this on DAZN?
I’ve never bothered before but if I pay for a month subscription for 20quid I get to watch the semi and potential final right?
Also wondering about the quality of picture, is it static camera from miles away or is it a bit better than that? Thanks for any replies…

A further prediction: this match is set in stone!
Torquay United are the undoubted masters of providing disappointing, and today will be one of those occasions.
A final score of 3-4 to the Wood, with their winning goal coming in the sixth minute of injury time!
Looking at the positives: at least we won't lose in the final!

I'll be watching on DAZN too. I think I am superstitious (my head says, don't be do ridiculous) so I cannot wear certain shirts because Torquay don't win. So, I'll start with thd current hoops, if I needed to change, then I'll go for 22/23 shirt. But seriously, I hope Torquay play with flair and passion... 2-1 Torquay.

If you get DAZN for a 1 week pass would it still work for next week (if we get to the final)?

I believe it is only for seven days, so most likely not.
Final is in two weeks time.Midlandgull wrote: 03 May 2025, 13:31 If you get DAZN for a 1 week pass would it still work for next week (if we get to the final)?

Torquay playing second fiddle at the moment. Coyy
Wow!
Hurts doesn't it
I could rationalise our exit by conceding this was only ever considered a consolidation season. Given what you went through last summer was far more serious I hope, in time, you can reconcile this set-back the same way.
We'll hopefully come back stronger from it, you'll undoubtedly do the same

To next year then...
Well, play offs never really been our thing. Never had much hope for them. Cant really moan about being 2nd and not going up either as so many teams close in points.
Big year next year, if we don't go up i think we are really a solidly national league south team at that point.
