What would they be if football didn't exist

Just had a bit of banter with a Local Rovers fan up here and the question came up about the huge wages they seem to be in even in the small divisions.
Then we wondered where they would be and what they would do if football didn't exist.
I brought up the name and he thought of careers.
Wayne Rooney. I thought he would be a jobbing builder. although the comment that there were quite a few trolleys needed collecting up from near and around Tesco made me laugh.
who and what can you come up with?
