Basically saying that he wants Yeoman and Spear to go out on loan to get game time. He said there is interest in Yeoman and some in Spear, but with Yeoman's record at Bideford it is clear why he is a more attractive target. Really hope they both get a good club in at least Blue Square North/South standard so their careers can push on from there.
Possibly last chance saloon for Yeoman given that he appeared once two years ago and has failed to do anything since?

Certainly not a bad thing. Think both need to go out on loan and get some time on the pitch, especially Yeoman. I think Yeoman does have the ability but he just needs to prove himself, it seems that in reserve games he has been playing as a central midfielder more than up front as well.
Spear of course is only in his first season as a pro but it would be good for him to get a head start and get out and score some goals.
Would also think that Halpin could do with going out on loan as he doesn't seem to be likely to get any game time here, and surely he is at the age where he needs to be playing as well otherwise I think his development will stall.

Spot the deliberate mistake in the OS report.

I agree about Halpin. If we were still naming 7 subs then i would have kept him as it can just be good for him to be around the squad and get on the bench, but now it's down to 5 i think it would be best for him to get some starts elsewhere so he can get used to the rough nature of mens football.

i often feel that small clubs like us where finance is always an issue should do more with the home grown youth players and less with the old has beens from all over the country with over inflated salaries!
