Crawley Town defender Kyle McFadzean eyes League Two title

McFadzean has captained the England C team
Crawley Town defender Kyle McFadzean says he is only thinking about winning League Two title. The Reds, who have won seven on their opening 11 games in their maiden Football League campaign, currently sit second in the table.

The 24-year-old told BBC Sussex: "If we'd not had a couple of dodgy results we'd have been running away with it a bit like last year in the Conference.

"We don't want the play-offs. We want top spot, and nothing else." : :

He added: "Hopefully we'll be in League One next year, and who says we can't get promoted next year?" :

McFadzean has also been selected in midfield by Crawley manager Steve Evans this season, and he says he is still adjusting to the different role.

"I prefer playing at the back because I've played there a lot but I'm starting to get used to midfield," he continued.

"You need to be a bit more composed on the ball and use it better. It's about keeping things simple and breaking play up.

"Once I get fitter and I can get around a bit more."

Makes you just hate them even more. Cocky gits. :@

That's a bit of a "if my auntie had b*ll*cks she'd be my uncle" statement for MacFadzean. There are about a dozen teams - us included - who could say they'd be doing better if it wasn't for a couple of dodgy results.

I look at the Crawley squad and for all the playing quality, they strike me as the sort of bunch of players who aren't exactly the sharpest knives in the draw.......

Unfortunately I really see them as the team to beat in this division. They will however reach their level and then it will be a quick sinking when the money goes and with the gates they get it will That is not a jibe at other teams gates butr the fact they are a new very successful team and only getting small gates.
Other Teams I think that will be up there or thereabouts Oxford, Swindon, Shrewsbury, Crewe,Rotherham,Yourselves,Ourselves (possibly) and Cheltenham /Morecombe/Aldershot Darkhorses.
