Branno on the move again ....

Post by CP Gull »

... it seems his brief tenure at Bradford City may be about to come to an end. Having signed for Peter Jackson, only to see him resign his position with a couple of months, he now appears out of favour with new boss Phil Parkinson. He (Parkinson) has brought in a couple of centre halves, one of who is Marcel Seip from our neighbours down the A38. Seip could be an excellent signing for them, he is certainly capable of playing at a much higher level (Championship fo sure) and L2 should be a walk in the park for him once he regains form/fitness after a fairly lengthy spell out of the game.

All this means though that Branno appears to be surplus to requirements and has now been loaned out to one of his "old" (lets face it there have been plenty of them!!!) clubs in Rotherham for 3 months - no doubt with a view to making the move permanent in January. It all seemed to turn pretty sour pretty quick for him after signing for Bradford in the summer, he certainly seemed to be relishing the prospect of playing fo such a "big" club, but after a few costly errors it seems a large number of their fans were on his back and he suffered some abuse on Twitter to the extent that he closed his account down to anyone other than registered followers.

I guess with this move it's likely that his last ever performance in a Bradford shirt may well turn out to be the hour or so he played against us on Saturday.

I guess this is another example of "the grass isn't always greener" - although it certainly will still be a lot more lucrative! Branno like quite a few others from last season, doesn't appear to have been enjoying life at Bradford quite as much as he did here with us.

Interesting one, wish him well.

Such a shame he moved on from us though.

And in other news Akinfenwa has suffered a broken jaw. I now invite any pie-eating jokes regarding this injury. Go.
Maybe one day, Carayol will find London...

I'm going to an Arctic Monkeys gig next week -

"He's not at Bradford City, he's at Rovvrum!"

Thank you.
