No rain overnight. Still overcast but some breaks in the clouds. Birds singing!
In only 15 minutes as the sun rises the clouds have moved away in the general direction of Southampton and it is now clear skies dotted with white fluffy clouds. Looks like it will be a nice day so all we need now is a win. Birds still singing!
I won't be enjoying it. Got up late, got in the car as far as Tamworth and decided i probably wouldn't make it in time so turned back. Unlike you hardened Gulls who travel away from the bay all the time, i'm not used to going to an away game more than 3 hours away! Oh well never mind. Just a shame nobody can benefit from my ticket. All that fuss about parking and its all academic now. Come on the Gulls!
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

If its any consoloation mate, the only game I ever set off for and never made it was Oxford last year, and (apparantly) we turned in a fantastic backs-to-the-wall performance with 10 men to win 2-0. Lets hope that your misfortune brings the same sort of luck.
besides, you get to enjoy the game on here - where I'm convinced some people are so quick at not only hearing of a goal but posting it on here, that they must either by psychic or part of some Italian pre-arranged betting ring. Stick around on here and you'll find out we've scored before the 1000-odd at Plymouth do!
Cheers for the words of sympathy Jeff ( i think?! ). Hope your twisted logic works for us haha! I was gutted as i wanted to be part of the history that is our first double over Plymouth for donkeys year and my first ever trip to Home Park. I HOPE to God that Plymouth do stay up because i they go into the BSP we may never play them again for many more years to come. The atmosphere today will be absolutely insane and i'm gonna miss it. Oh well, least i'll be at the Moss Rose a week on saturday.

COYY!!
I sincerely hope we don't make it sound like a home match. They are like being at the morgue some days.especialy after the Oxford game by all accounts. Make it like a really really really big away match then we may be heard in Truro.

Swindon wasn't that great either, infact it's been pretty poor since the singers moved down the away end. Far too many sad old men on the Popside who don't sing, hurry up back to the Grandstand!
