Hope Wrexham can beat Brighton as the tie with Newcastle is on tv on the saturday. I'd quite like to watch Wrexham v Newcastle. I think Watford v Spurs is the Friday night game.
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

Reasons for certain clubs being on TV regardless.
Sunderland, and moreso Newcastle are seen as north east giants with a massive cup tradition by the sychophantic media. Newcastle are ALWAYS made about 6th favourites for the cup at the start of round 3 despite not having won it since the mid 50's.
I dread them ever winning anything, the media would go into a geordie thrashfest! (Thrash=w@nk for the unknowing).
ITV and BBC are now starved of screening top flight matches, so when a clash comes around in the cup they go into a frenzy and show it despite the same clubs being on Sky a dozen times a season.
They aren't interested in anyone else other than ManUre, Chelski,Thieverpool and now Man Shitty and harrys Titsonham!
rant over for the time being

I don't want to watch Newcastle, i WANT to watch Wrexham!
( seriously, i DO want to watch Wrexham, if it were Brighton v Newcastle i probably won't watch it - just love watching lower league teams, i'm used to it i guess ). ![Scarf :scarf:](./images/smilies/scarf.gif)

It really drives me round the bend with the constant love-in with Newcastle on the BBC!EmetEdadsBeard wrote:Reasons for certain clubs being on TV regardless.

Not sure if anyone else has seen it yet but ITV has announced the following games for the 4th round:
- Liverpool v Manchester United - well of course they would!
- Sunderland v Middlesborough - they've obviously picked it because it's a derby but they don't realise that it's a one way derby (i.e. only Middlesborough fans see it as such). Seen that Sunderland have dropped their ticket prices for the game to £20 as they're worried fans will watch it on the telly

The FA Cup suddenly exists again, because it's Man Utd v Liverpool this weekend.
