Sorry if this post is not directly related to the current argument going on but it is about BBC Radio Devon. I'll offer no excuses for being a technological retard and knowing pretty much zilch about the internet and computers, that's how it is but am i able to get BBC Radio Devon somehow online with the commentaries even if i live in Chesterfield? I'd appreciate if any of you know the answer to this and how i go about doing it as it would be great to have that facility.
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

Anybody can get BBC Radio Devon on-line via their website, BUT, nobody can get the football commentaries. They just don't do them online for some reason, whether it's legal, contractual, or copyright reasons, I've no idea.

And in Torquay we can only get Gulls' commentaries on old-fashioned medium wave. The rest of Devon can get commentaries on FM and Digital Radio. Don't know why we're discriminated against, but there it is..

Cheers GS, thanks for that. It's 'little old Torquay' again then it seems? :-/

Don't get to listen to it as much as I'd like - being stuck in the office and all - but I like it when Steve is on the commentary. I feel like I'm really there, in amongst the fans. Except with not as much swearing - kudos, Steve, for restraining yourself; I know for a fact you can swear with the best of 'em.

Still have the moped?

It's contractual between the Football League and I imagine the guys at '...Player'

League games can't be broadcast via the internet, pretty sure you can get it for FA Cup games but that's it.

Yeah it's not really a case of little old Torquay. We can listen to 'Praise & Grumble' or 'Football Heaven' on BBC Radio Sheffield via the net, but as soon as the commentary of a match from Hillsborough or Bramall Lane starts they pull the plug on us in just the same way.

Except that we still only get commentaries in Torbay on antique medium wave..

Steve mate I was wondering whether or not to delete my account and just not read any internet postings any more because some of the inane drivel and absolute bollox spouted by some, that isn`t worthy of reading let alone replying to, BUT i have learnt a new technique and that incorperates trying to understand that we are all different and some are far more different than others ( that`s as politically correct as I can put it ), these others need to be left to bury themselves in their own sh1te! Certain members (for the want of a better expression) should at all costs be totally ignored, there seems to be an element of folk that are the equivalent of `self harmers`, ones the players refer to as `Haters`! They know who they are, and I know who they are, over time you will learn who to ignore, who to respond to and who is just havin a larf.
I came on here and at the begining I didn`t realise that some were just having a bit of fun with me and others were just complete penis`, it takes a short time but you will adjust!
I also agree with SG, I look forward to listening to you on the radio at away games, keep up the good work and DON`T change a damn thing you do!

Is nobody going to jump on this? Really?
Guess I'll have to, then.

Aussie, if you delete your account the amount of inane drivel and absolute bollox will be reduced by at least 27% :) :)

I crack myself up.

If I delete my account together with Aussie, Gloster, Matt, Brucie and Cambgull then harmony will reign supreme on Torquay Fans.com

On second thoughts . . . (will not delete my account, the others can). ;-)
