well done Chester FC, clinched promotion again this year, I saw them when they got promoted last season against my local club up here Garforth Town, packed 2000 away fans in the tiniest of grounds. felt special to be there and you could sense they were on their way back! so to hear they've been promoted for the second season running is great news for them loyal supporters!

Hmmm, I still follow The Matlock Fan on Twitter and he paints a picture similar to that of Cheaty. They have a load of money, behave poorly (if not strictly outside the rules) and are generally not well thought of. I know absolutely nothing about it first hand, so I bow to your superior knowledge, but it seems they aren't popular Champions, even if they are worthy.

The point i was making was just that had we been thrown in to Oblivion like them then would have that sort of fan base, They were very well behaved last season against Garforth Town and a few i spoke to were genuine fans and not just there for one promotion game. i'm no expert either but credit where credits due, by hook or by crook you still have to field 11 players and win games. i'm sure the FA will of had a close eye on them because of all the trouble in the past so maybe everything is legal and the other teams feel is been unfair on them to have such a big club (for that league) in their division in the first place. Anyway i dont think it matters these days if you are popular Champions does it? Man Utd are certainly not popular Champions, Chelsea bought the title and that wasn't popular and Man City will buy it and soon everyone will hate them as well.
