those are yellow seats with grey people in them, as we know the plan is far from accurate tho, except for the number of people they've pictured actually in the stand, thats probably about right, ie 1/3 full!!
still keeping the faith

A word of advice to anyone looking to sit in the new stand when it's done. Choose seats down the end nearest to the family stand. That was the only part that seemed untouched by the rain today at the Southend match.

There wasn't actually any rain blowing in at all, which was reassuring. It was a leaky roof.
I think the fact the family stand end was the first bit to be done, means the roof has been completed.

Mmmmmm, beeeeeeeer.
I think maybe it was that the gutters hadn't been connected up

Perhaps it is just the angle of the dangle, but it appears to me as if a few of the seats in the upper corner won't have a line of sight to the corner flag...? Now obviously we won't have a full house too often, so people won't have to sit there, but it seems a strange oversight on the architect's behalf.
Am I mistaken?
Am I mistaken?

On other pictures, it looks like the away end is fine.
I'm still not so sure about the home end......

Perhaps, if necessary, the pitch could be shortened a little?
Its the angle of the pics, remember the rows don't go to the edge as the stairs go up.
Fair point about the steps. I imagine that a handful of people would have to crane their necks to see action in the very corner, but as I say, I guess those seats won't need to be used too often.
I am waiting to see an announcement from Dean Edwards regarding 'buying a brick' somewhere in the stand. Seems a relatively easy way to make some money. I would deffo pay £20-50 to have my name inscribed there for posterity.
Did the club already do this on part of the ground? Rings a bell, I'm sure.

Yes in fact they have already done a buy a brick and it's now situated on the perimeter wall in the family stand. There is a lorra lorra tiles stuck on with the sponsors name and the Gulls logo on it. it's slightly toward the Bench end of the stand. this was done I think around 2007/8 ?
