Just been thinking about what a reversal last night was. When we played Rotherham they scored in the 34th minute and they should of had more, but it finished 1-0, and last night we scored in the 34th minute and should have scored more but it was only 1-0. Strange...

Thats the beauty of football !!!!! Some of the above posters should realise that football is not an exact science or else the bookies would be out of business !!

I take it you didn't spend upwards of £200 plus having to take time off plus having to sort a babysitter out plus attending through illness to watch our last three away games? If you did and are happy with what you saw then fine, if you didn't and just went tonight and thought we were brilliant then you're f*cking deluded. Are YOU for real?

That quote that you have kindly highlighted for the rest of us is a perfectly reasonable statement. We just got the win through a fortunate goal did we not? We played better against a poor, struggling side which is to be expected is it not? I congratulated Martin and the lads on a solid start to the season did i not? Either learn how to interpret information properly or go back to f*cking college!

YES WE WON, YES IT WAS A GOOD IMPROVEMENT ON PREVIOUS AWAY GAMES, YES WE HAVE THE THREE POINTS AND DESPITE CRITICISMS I AM VERY PLEASED. CAN YOU UNDERSTAND THIS?
What a silly, childish, unnecessary rant.....you really don't have to resort to swearing at me either however easy it is from the safety of your keyboard.

"Still not impressed but we did the bare minimum tonight"
"Nothing has changed performance wise"

Your ridiculous quotes after a comfortable win, when we absolutely dominate a side away from home....grated with me, following a team like TUFC gives one plenty to moan about, believe me after having been a fan of 30 odd years and one who witnessed the webb era, I should know - after a much needed performance and win, it's about as pathetic as your immature rant.

Would love to go back to F***** college mind.....easy life in those days.

I was simply responding to your own immature response to me, "jeez, are you for real?". I could argue that such a remark was also childish and afforded my view a total lack of respect by just dismissing not only my opinion but indeed myself as being of little worth. That grated with me if i'm honest and prompted my angry reply. I'm not particularly pleased at myself for using foul language directed at someone and for that i backtrack and do apologise but next time if you may be so kind as to attempt to reinforce your comments with reasons why you said them then perhaps i maybe able to understand where you're coming from instead of having to read a short and pathetic condemnation of my opinion. I don't wish to fall out with anybody jock so please can we draw a line in the sand and move on both respecting each others opinions?
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

We've all been there Andy - spending £££ on an away day where the team havent turned up and we've been absolutely destroyed. Worse one for me was probably the start of the 05/06 (?) season where we went to Oxford on a Tuesday then Mansfield on the Saturday. We stayed up in the midlands and went to both - lost at Oxford but we were poor, then got absolutely trounced by Mansfield 3-0 but could have been double figures.

It's all part and parcel of supporting a lower league team.

Cheers Nick, i feel a little bit embarrased to be whinging when you guys that travel up from Devon obviously do so at more expense than me in terms of cost and time (although the travel club is sometimes cheaper for you than me paying to take my own car to some places) but it was just the culmination of three games exactly alike and exactly negative that annoyed me and got me thinking do we really NEED to play like this every game? I accept we are of limited ability and in the bottom tier of league football but even the most placid and supportive amongst us would deserve a tiny grumble at those 3 away games surely? The weird thing is that draws at Fleetwood and Vale plus a narrow defeat at Rotherham on paper seem like really good results and i absolutely agree that they are, just the manner in which we got the draws annoyed me. Vale was excellent but we could have done so much better against the other two. Last night was a creditable improvement by all accounts, one which was both necessary and expected and is a platform now to kick on a bit. I know we aren't going to play like Brazil every week and we may go long periods without winning games, we are league 2 but the players and manager earn money from us fans paying to watch so i'm not 100% forgiving and never will be. 98% i think? Oh and i was at Mansfield once for a night game and i think we lost 5-0 being 4-0 down at half time i think , maybe 6 or 7 years ago. Luckily for me though i only lived 10 miles away! :-D
