Bearing in mind we've scored about 1 goal in our last 300 games Bix i'd say there must be some sh*t hot Premier League bound 'keepers in our league mate. :~D
I accept that but it's no excuse and it doesn't get us a goal. Our front men need to up their game a bit and believe in themselves a bit more now otherwise we're relying on Downes to head one in and he's not even on the park anymore.
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.
We're creating chances which is certainly a good thing, all 5 of our shots have been on target which means we're making the keeper work. It seems very unfair that we're 1-0 down. Another referee to afraid to make a decision on blatant handballs and poor finishing is the difference between us being 1-0 down and 3-1 up. You create your own luck and it takes just that little extra belief that you will score or that it definitely is a penalty and it can make all the difference.
We certainly seem to have been doing the basics right and probably the better team. Unfortunately, being the better team and winning games are very different things.
Oh, well that's alright then. We might be down in 19th place but we are in the Automatic promotion places in terms of music played at half time in this commentators mind.
There's a definite consolation that we could have the best tracklist in Non League next year! :P
EDIT: And now they're advertising the morning show, featuring a woman who can't work out that 250 x 8 is 2,000. Stupidity is popular now!

Since January we have played 9 games (today is the tenth) - we have scored in six of those.
It's a question of taking our chances - but we have created little in most of those and then sat back....we need to keep creating, and we will (eventually) score!!

Spot on, the problem is Scott that our away performances have produced a couple of chances at best per game whilst we sit back and get battered whilst at home we have good spells on top and miss chances and get punished. We need to create chances in away games too and start accumulating points away from home too. Doing it at home and then not turning up away is not acceptable and is partly the reason why we are in this sh*t in the first place.
I expect to go to Accrington and play exactly the same way as today because if we sit back against Accrington then we really are going one way. I'm hopeful and i'm keeping the faith but our away attitude MUST change as from next week.
