Typical league two game to be fair.yellowmonkey wrote:Sunday League !!!! Half a performance
Too small a squad. Too many players knackered. No decent replacements.
We were never going to win tonight. Never in a million years. We simply do not have the people out there that can put the ball in the back of the net.
Onwards to next season - lets just hope we don't lose key players.

Agree with Bruce, I would have taken play offs at the beginning of the season like most of of us.
Not to be this year, but we move on to next season.
Torquay till I die!

It hurts to say it but well done Cheltenham. I will be rooting for you against Crewe. We did everything we could but lady luck just wasnt with us tonight. Another day we would have cruised to a 4-2 win no problem. That is football. I think it will be an entertaining final with two good footballing sides but I honestly believe Crewe will prevail. the plus side of that outcome is that we will have a wonderful revenge couplet with Cheltenham next year with the prospect of a full house ( one of many I hope) at TQ1

Just got to a PC....bummer
Shame that it all had to end.
I do hope that ML makes sure that this disappointment for the lads is not allowed to overshadow what has been an immensely enjoyable and successful season. Past 50 points this season it was all gravy!
Some lessons learned along the way I hope, the need for a squad which can play more than 451 for me will be key to keeping the oppo guessing next season.
Well done everyone - more fun and games come August!
