Torquay v Chesham Sat 5th April 3pm

Post by United62 »

The count-down starts here. Five to go. The first of them at home to 'neither up nor down and on the beach' Chesham Utd who visit Plainmoor in front of what could well be the biggest attendance of the season (so far). Would we all take yet another 1-0 win? Of course we would! But are 1-0's going to be enough. Goal difference could be crucial come the end of the season and it's games like these at home that we should be shooting-on-sight and looking for that comfy win. Of course, this is Torquay United, we don't do things the easy way.... so another 1-0 coming up? To us? To them? Let's find out on Saturday.

Torquay 4 Chesham 0

Chesham were a good side when i went there early on in the season and should have won that game, despite going down to 10 men.

Going for my 4th 1-0 prediction in a row as i try and match the Gulls in a late run for the title.

I'll be out on Saturday afternoon, is it socially acceptable to check my phone every 2 minutes? I have every confidence that we will power through this game, sooooo

Torquay 4 Chesham 1

I just edited my prediction as that was my winning prediction a long time ago. 3 points to the team, 3 points to me, thank you very much

After three 1- 0 wins (my favourite score), we need to improve our goal difference but the three points is the crucial concern. Predicting our results has been a nightmare all season......just look at my position in the prediction table.

Torquay 3 Chesham 1

Not sure we’ve scored more than twice that often this season, Weston at home is the only one I can remember, but if we can get an early goal then necessity means we have to go for more.

4-1 home win. Att. 3800.

It looks as though there are no more freebie tickets being given out this season, so we’ll see the true level of support we have.
