Don't be afraid.....

Post by goodluckgull »

I am calling upon all Torquay United Fans to start getting creative and come up with some new songs/chants for our players. At the moment only 3 players names are chanted (Manse, Nicho and Eunan) We have no songs for any of our strikers. I am sure that Ren and Ti would really respond well to a song about them. It lets them know their efforts are appreciated and they start to feel they "belong" to Torquay. Songs are so important on many levels at any football club and we are seriously lacking at the moment. Last week I posted an idea for a song for Billy Boden, but it was either removed or there was no response. I felt it might inspire some of you. This forum is the perfect tool for establishing ideas for some new songs for our players so, DONT BE AFRAID and post your ideas because any ideas are better than none at all.

Moved to appropriate section.

Perfectly acceptable thread, just not in the right place.

Carry on...

They both have a song.

Super Rene Howe, Rene Howe, Super Rene Howe

and

Tai-wo Ati-eno (The tune from the Palo Di Canio chant) - But I think we should sing the song that gcftufc suggested for Taiwo.

off topic I know but,
You saw most of his games for the under 18's?

You see...I have refereed him a few times and never been impressed- halpin is much more of a talent at this time. Spear's attitude has been his main downfall

I'm thinking something along the lines of:-

"Howe do you do what you do to me?...." - to the tune of the song with the same words.

I would go on but it's 1am and my brain isn't working!
